Dr. Ranjit Pandey MD.

Dr. Ranjit Pandey MD has been in the field of the Administration of Hospitals and of Health Care Projects since the last 20 years. He has been very closely associated with Medical Insurance from its very beginning. In the early nineties when Mediclaim was opened to private operators he was involved in the creation of several types of Medical Insurance Packages for various hospitals. During his career in Hospital Administration he has been responsible for creating public awareness with respect to Medical Insurance. More recently he has been advising “Private Insurance” companies regarding the most appropriate “Insurance Packages” for the India.

Dr Ranjit Pandey is a Medical Graduate from the Prince of Wales Medical College, Patna from where he also did his MD and DCH. He has worked with TISCO at the Tata Main Hospital in Jamshedpur for 13 years and later with the Apollo Hospital at Hyderabad. This followed a string of attachments to various hospitals and Health Care projects in Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Gwalior, Noida, Varanasi etc. He had held the position of Executive Director of the Singapore based Health care Company, Medi - Projects Pte Ltd before taking the current assignment with a leading private hospital-Lilavati in Mumbai.

Dr. Pandey has a lot of experience from the Health Provider and the Patient’s point of view as well, with respect to Medical Insurance.
