I am Daula from Bangladesh. I am happy to share my experience of going to India for my son’s Salivary gland surgery. I had a great experience dealing with Tour2india4helth Group. My son was having salivary gland tumor and the problem was becoming unbearable and even after many medication there was no relief. His doctor told me that he needs Salivary gland surgery as soon as possible. Doctor told me to contact Tour2india4health Group for Salivary gland surgery to be done in India. Salivary gland surgery is performed under general anesthesia. The doctor makes an "S" shaped incision in front of the earlobe down to the neck. Thereafter, he or she removes the swollen area of the parotid gland. A thin plastic drainage tube is placed in the wound to remove excess fluids, and next the doctor closes up the incision. The wound normally heals quickly, leaving behind a faint scar. Patients typically feel pain and discomfort for 24 hours after Salivary gland surgery, but by the end of a week, the wound is normally pain-free. The drainage tube is removed 2-3 days after the surgery. Most of the swelling also resolves by this time. Stitches or clips used during parotid gland removal surgery are usually removed 5-7 days after the procedure. 

Immediately following my son’s Salivary gland surgery, he was shifted to a well furnished air conditioned room. He was advised to rest for at least 48 hours. Only light meals were recommended on the day of surgery. He felt drowsy and experienced some discomfort after his surgery. Doctor prescribed him some medicines for pain relief.
