The symptoms like cough with blood-tinged sputum, joint pain and problems in passing the urine were witnessed which was seen along with a constant fever. After hearing my symptoms and a couple of tests including the kidney biopsy, my doctor confirmed me with kidney inflammation, hence he suggested me to have Acute Pyelonephritis treatment. Intravenous fluids was administered to compensate for the reduced oral intake, insensible losses (due to the raised temperature) and vasodilation and to maximize urine output. If the patient is septic secondary to an obstructing stone, percutaneous nephrostomy is indicated for source control.
