Dr. Jayaprasanna has a vast exposure and experience of learning and performing the whole spectrum of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular surgeries in his career.
Dr. Jayaprasanna is one of the few to learn and practice Cardio-Thoracic surgeries from renowned centers within and outside India. After obtaining training in Cardio-Thoracic & Vascular surgery from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi, he worked in the best centers like a Indraprastha Apollo Hospital Delhi, Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital Brisbane, Australia. He has an exposure to more than 6000 Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular surgeries of which he has performed about 1100 surgeries independently. At Royal Adelaide Hospital he got expertise in complex aortic and minimally invasive Cardio-Thoracic surgeries. At The Prince Charles Hospital, which is the leading Cardio-Thoracic centre in Australia, he was actively involved in the heart and lung transplantations.
