Dr. Mohan Koppikar

Dr Mohan Koppikar brings a wide range of experiences for 11 years to the Wockhardt Minimal Access Surgery Hospital. Dr. Mohan Koppikar has worked on the teaching staff upto the level of Reader in Surgery in his alma mater. He has worked for over ten years overseas in specialty departments like acute trauma, surgical gastroenterology and minimal access surgery (Laparoscopic surgery). He trained in Minimal Access Surgery from Prof. Cuschieri, Berci, Sackier, Williams and Rogers. He has been practicing MAS since 1992 and has been involved in well over thousand procedures. He is a faculty member at Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education and is a Tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He also teaches at KJ Somaiya Medical College.
