About India
Mark Twain rightly described India in the following lines, "India is, the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend, and the great grandmother of tradition. Our most valuable and most instructive materials in the history of man are treasured up in India only."

About Canada
Located in the northern part of North America, Canada is the second largest country on this planet. It is bordered by three oceans - the Pacific Ocean in the west, the Atlantic Ocean in the east and the Arctic Ocean to the north. Canada has a varied range of landscapes - high mountains, prairie grasslands, different type of forests, arctic tundra where the ground is permanently frozen. Canada occupies much of the continent of North America, sharing land borders with the contiguous United States to the south, and the US state of Alaska to the northwest. Canada is geologically active, has had many earthquakes and still has some potentially active volcanoes, notably Mount Meager, Mount Garibaldi, Mount Cayley, and the Mount Edziza volcanic complex. Not only this, Canada has more lakes than the rest of the world combined. Last counted, there may be as many as two million, with 563 lakes larger than 100 square kilometres. Canada's largest include Lake Huron (Ontario), Great Bear Lake (Northwest Territories), and Lake Superior (Ontario), Lake Winnipeg, Canada's fifth and the world's 11th largest, is in Manitoba.
Canada's southern border with the United States is the world's longest bi-national land border. The majority of the country has a cold or severely cold winter climate, but southerly areas are warm in summer. Canada is sparsely populated, the majority of its land territory being dominated by forest and tundra and the Rocky Mountains. It is highly urbanized with 82 per cent of the 35.15 million people concentrated in large and medium-sized cities, many near the southern border. Its capital is Ottawa, and its largest metropolitan areas are Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Canada is a federal parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy, with Queen Elizabeth II being the head of state. The country is officially bilingual at the federal level. It is one of the world's most ethnically diverse and multicultural nations, the product of large-scale immigration from many other countries. Its progressive economy is the tenth-largest in the world, relying chiefly upon its abundant natural resources and well-developed international trade networks. Canada's long and complex relationship with the United States has had a significant impact on its economy and culture.
Canada is a well developed country and has the fifteenth-highest nominal per capita income globally as well as the tenth-highest ranking in the Human Development Index. It ranks among the highest in international measurements of government transparency, civil liberties, quality of life, economic freedom, and education. Canada is religiously diverse, encompassing a wide range of beliefs and customs; has no official church, and the government is officially committed to religious pluralism. Freedom of religion in Canada is a constitutionally protected right, allowing individuals to assemble and worship without limitation or interference. A multitude of languages are used by Canadians, with English and French (the official languages) being the mother tongues of approximately 60 percent and 20 percent of Canadians, respectively.
The healthcare sector is a developed one in Canada but surely not without problems. There is shortage of healthcare services in specific areas along with underfunding. Both public sector and private sector have their own issues and thus Canadians either have to deal with lengthy waiting periods or opt for other countries to get treated. Dealing with shortage of paramedic staff, long waiting periods, and most importantly the skyrocketing treatment costs, is very challenging here. The distribution of healthcare facilities is not proportionate as per social and economic classes. Also, the variation in quality and quantity of treatment and expenditure is not that good when compared to other countries. This makes many people from Canada opt for getting treated in other countries rather than in Canada.
With the medical tourism industry gaining fast-paced popularity, a large number of patients from Canada are finalizing India as their treatment destination. The main attractive facet that is drawing the attention of these patients is the availability of reasonably priced treatments and that too with zero waiting periods. This is majorly helping these patients in saving a lot of money compared to what they have to shell out in their own country. Majority of the treatments in India cost about as low as one tenth of what they cost in Canada. Also, what is most crucial is that these medical tourists from Canada are getting treated on time.
